A generic method to stop fire spread  above a ceiling is considered here , and is based on some years of volunteer Fire Department experience in our local, rural town.


The idea seems useful for early fire stoppage in lower floors(s) with cleaner fire approach and assessment to better preserve floor(s) above .


A big vacuum intake reduces smoke obscuration so that affected areas a much better dealt with.

An old man has time to dig through years of well meaning work and share it online.
